The WiNRADiO WR-UBF-1800 Universal Broadcast Filter combines three functions in one package:
An FM broadcast (88-108 MHz) band-reject filter, AM broadcast (0-1.75 MHz) band-reject filter,
and a 20 dB attenuator. These functions (one at a time) are selectable by the user at installation time.
Simplicity of installation, low insertion loss and wide-band operation make this product suitable for VHF/UHF receivers up to 1.8 GHz,
where suppression of broadcast bands is required in order to eliminate intermodulation inteference from strong local stations.
|
|
The WiNRADiO WR-UBF-1800 Universal Broadcast Filter should be inserted between the antenna and the receiver using SMA connectors and a suitable coaxial cable.
To select one of the three functions of the Universal Broadcast Filter, the bottom cover is removed, which will reveal three sets of jumpers used to select the desired
functionality.
|
|
To select one of the three functions, the jumpers in both groups need to be set to the same position, as per the adjacent table.
For example, if the FM brodacast filter is to be selected, jumpers have to be fitted in the FMF positions in both jumper groups.
