This device provides a means to inject DC power in a coaxial cable, to power remotely-located devices such as active antennas,
low-noise amplifiers and downconverters. It features a very flat frequency response, making it possible
to use this device in a very wide frequency range, from 30 to 3500 MHz.
|
The WiNRADiO WR-BT-3500 Power Injector is especially suitable for use with WiNRADiO
WR-DNC-3500 Frequency Downconverter or the WR-LNA-3500 Low Noise Amplifier.
Installation
|
In this example, the WR-DNC-3500 downconverter is placed close to the antenna and powered via the coaxial cable. On the receiver side, the power is injected
in the coaxial cable using the WiNRADiO WR-BT-3500 Bias 'T' device. Such arrangement makes it possible
to minimize losses in the cable if the antenna is located at a greater distance from the receiver.
A suitable 12 V power supply to use with the WR-BT-3500 Power Injector is the WiNRADiO low-noise linear model SF-41.
